Sweeping Pool Compound and Changing Rooms. Cleaning Toilets – Please do these ‘as and when required.’ Can you please remember to sweep behind the pool cover as leaves collect and we need to prevent them entering the pool, thanks!

Due to break-ins to our shed we cannot keep supplies there for toilet cleaning duties. We must again ask those members doing this to bring their own cleaning materials, rubber gloves and toilet rolls.

Please contact me if you wish to be reimbursed. Brooms dustpans and brushes are all kept for your use in the shed at the pool. As requested by several members we have a new smaller broom-head.

Dustbins – Please use Guildford Council grey bags. These should be tied and placed by the bins just inside the pool field entrance, near the main road for collection on Mondays, ie. put out on a Sunday afternoon/evening. These grey bags are expensive so please line the Pool dustbins with ordinary black ones and put these into the grey ones when full. Both types of bin bags are kept in the supplies shed. Any full bags can be kept with our dustbin until put out for Monday collection.

We also have two Guildford Council recycling boxes next to the dustbins for collecting waste paper, bottles and cans ONLY. You do not need to do anything with these.

The Pool is a wonderful facility for the community and it simply would not be able to continue without the excellent help of so many willing volunteers. The Committee would like to invite you to attend the AGM in October, date TBA, and join us for a glass of wine to say thank you for your help.
